VP / Manager - Product Controller

Global financial institution is seeking to add a senior professional to its controllers group to support its financial markets businesses. Primary focus is to be the key liaison with regional business heads and local management with regard to all financial issues surrounding P&L, price testing, internal controls, risk and product reporting and process improvement. Specific responsibilities will involve all facets of P&L and related reporting and analysis, production of timely management information, ensuring integrity of ledger data via assessment and monitoring of controls, assist in new product approval process and participation in all global product control policy setting. Products include treasuries, repos, munis, mortgages and various other structured, credit and interest rate products

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a product control and/or financial control environment and solid understanding of various financial products, including some derivatives. Must have strong PC, analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills and be able to take ownership and accountability for various projects and initiatives. Must also possess strong managerial skills and have the ability to function in a fluid environment. A CPA and/or MBA would be a plus.
