In order to qualify, you must have 10 or more years of direct compliance or regulatory experience in one or more of the areas listed above, an exceptionally clean CRD, a client-centric, client-friendly attitude, exceptional analytical skills, superior command of at least one of the disciplines listed above, a professional appearance and very strong written and verbal acuity for client-facing presentations and correspondence that oftentimes reaches the “C” level of some of the world’s largest and most prestigious financial institutions, asset managers, hedge funds and law firms. While not required, a JD or significant securities regulatory experience is highly desired. Familiarity with MS Excel, Access and Project is a plus.

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Acts independently to manage highly complex sales support duties focusing around conversions in the FTPS product area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

# Performs more complex FTPS conversion coordination duties including: completion of customer correspondence and conversion schedules, completion of required paperwork, and completion of other require conversion tasks as necessary.
# Serves as the point person for large institutions (nationals), network, and processor conversions and the related on-going support, involving other individuals within the conversions organization as appropriate.
# Conducts conversions related to Fifth Third and FTPS acquisitions and mergers.
# Escalates appropriate conversion-related issues to next level of management.
# Oversees new national/regional processor and/or network support and on-going support/maintenance, including reconciliation and establishment of procedures for same.
# Performs on-site conversion support as required including: activation of any hardware devices (e.g., ATM/POS/CRT) assists in the receipt and analysis of reports, and the reconciliation and balancing process.
# Develops project schedules, target dates, and timelines associated with all conversion activities in conjunction with customer and Technology Specialists.
# Performs post-conversion analysis, problem determination and resolution, and other customer support and consulting as required.
# Conducts gap analysis with products services offered and truly required by customer and refers additional sales opportunities back to the appropriate salesperson.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have a Masters in Business Administration or related area (Public Policy, Economics, etc), a minimum of 5 years banking experience (direct lending specifically) and experience in corporate finance, private equity investing and/or community development finance would be positive. Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite are also pre-requisites. Knowledge of the US bank/thrift regulations would be considered additional assets.
