One of our top clients is hiring for a Regional Controller who will be an integral part of the organizations finance team. The Regional Controller position will have a great deal of responsibility related to the overall financial functions of the accounting & finance department as well as several ad hoc duties related to merger & acquisitions, audits, tax research, acquisition due diligence and assisting in the integration of organizations acquired. As with most Controller position, the Regional Controller will have communication often with the company’s executive team and will report to the company’s CFO.
The Regional Controller will initially be involved is ongoing projects and will look to provide guidance on process simplification and improvement. As the Regional Controller, you will also serve as a point of contact and liaison with the external CPA firm. The Regional Controller mush also possess strong communication skills, critical reasoning, ability to problem solve and provide critical reasoning, is detail oriented and has the ability to learn, assess and develop new process methodologies when necessary.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
~ 6+ years of experience with progressive career growth in all areas of accounting and finance and preferably in both public accounting and private industry
~ CPA, MBA or CMA strongly preferred
~ Demonstrated management experience in an accounting / finance department
~ Mergers & Acquisition experience a plus
~ Industry knowledge is not critical
~ ERP experience a plus
